Terms and Conditions

Acknowledgement:

 

All orders will be accepted by MK Design subject to and in accordance with the following terms and conditions of sale. The buyer will be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted the said terms and conditions and will be bound by them. MK Design will not accept any purported variation to the said terms and conditions that may be included in any written document (including any order form) from the buyer except by prior written agreement.

 

Prices:

 

Prices charged are those prevailing at the time of written quotation from MK Design, and are valid for a period of 3 months from date of quotation.

 

VAT:

 

All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT which will be added at the time of invoice/delivery in accordance with prevailing legislation.

 

Settlement Terms:

 

All outstanding payments must be received within 30 days of the date of invoice. MK Design reserves the right to request full or part payment in advance at the time of order as stipulated on the relevant quotation. Where non payment of goods causes MK Design to deem it necessary to instruct a professional collection agency or solicitor to recover an overdue debt, the full cost of recovering the outstanding monies, including all accrued interest and associated professional fees, will be borne in whole by the buyer.

 

Payment:

 

Payment may be made by cheque, payable to either of the partners of MK Design, or by BACS subject to prior arrangement.

 

Orders:

 

Orders must be received in writing, including order numbers where appropriate.

Cancellation of orders must be received in writing within 24 hours of the order being placed. After that time cancellation of orders will not be accepted and settlement will be due in full as stated above.

 

Delivery:

 

Delivery of orders will be within 6 weeks from date of order, unless stated otherwise in the quotation.

 

Specifications:

 

All specifications, drawings and particulars of dimension, colour, style, spellings or other details within the quotation are intended only to give a general indication of signage, and must be checked and verified or amended in writing by the buyer prior to the order being placed.

 

Guarantee:

 

All goods supplied by MK Design are supplied with the manufacturer’s guarantee of 12 months. Any defects, which under proper use appear in the goods within a period of 12 months after delivery, and which are due to faulty materials or workmanship will be made good by MK Design  either by repair or replacement.

 

Ownership:

 

All goods remain the property of MK Design until invoice is settled in full.

 

Copyright:

 

MK Design has taken all reasonable steps in the course of its business to ensure that the goods do not infringe any patent, design, trademark, copyright or any other rights of third parties but no guarantees in this respect is given, and MK Design shall have no liability whatsoever in the event of any such infringement howsoever arising.

 

Force Majeure:

 

MK Design shall not be liable in any respect of any breach of this agreement due to any cause beyond its control.
